Description: Here is for sale a very nice Bally EIGHT BALL DELUXE pinball machine (first edition). The machine that we're offering for sale is working 100% OK without errors. Backglass is original and it is in excellent condition with new trim installed (metal lift bar and plastic edges). Playfield installed is new (CPR Gold, silkscreen version). The surface was clearcoated by Captain Neo's Playfield Restorations. The full set of plastics (including the clear pieces) is new. Mechanisms (bumpers, slingshots, drop target assemblies, flippers, etc.) were fully disassembled and cleaned before being installed on the new playfield. Switches were also cleaned with new caps installed where originally used. Flippers were rebuilt (new bats, new buttons, new coils, new coil stops, new E.O.S., new links/plungers, new switches on cabinet). A new set of rubbers was installed. All new #44/#47 lamp sockets were installed on the backbox panel and playfield. LED bulbs were installed throughout the machine (behind the backglass, under the plastics, and on the bottom side of the playfield). Three small adapter boards were installed on the lamp driver board for LED compatibility. The 12 drop targets installed in this machine are new. The three lane guides, bumper bodies, and bumper skirts are also new. The backbox and lower cabinet were fully repainted matching the original artwork and colors. The interior is extremely clean and new labels were installed throughout. Original serial number from the factory ("EED 1464") is stamped on the left side of the backbox and lower cabinet. Being an early/low serial number, this machine came with the very rare white pop bumper caps and white pop bumper rings. These white caps and rings were soon after discontinued from use in the factory line and replaced with the amber caps and rings most commonly seen in the majority of EBD. The early serial number is also the reason why this machine has red posts instead of the commonly seen blue posts. Power supply board is new. The rest of the boards are originals made by Bally and they are in excellent condition. The set of displays is working 100% OK with excellent brightness and without segments or digits missing or always "on". Sounds and speech are clear (Squawk & Talk sound board was recapped). The playfield glass is new. The set of metal side rails on the exterior of the lower cabinet is new. A new coin door skin was installed. The rear side was fully disassembled and every piece was individually gone through. Front door and backbox have locks with the corresponding keys. A plastic keychain and "topper" are also included. Two coin mechs for quarters are included and they are working without problems. Legs were repainted and they look like new. Original coin box with the corresponding lid is present. Manual with the schematics is also included.
